We’re seeking a driven and personable Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our solar team. As the first point of contact for many customers, you’ll play a vital role in building relationships, scheduling consultations, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from the first touch through post-appointment follow-ups.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to make a meaningful impact in accelerating renewable energy adoption.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule qualified appointments for solar consultations.

  • Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate records in HubSpot CRM.

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and texts with prospects and customers.

  • Retain customers intending to cancel by addressing concerns and providing solutions.

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent communication.

  • Follow up with leads and nurture prospects through the sales funnel until S1.

  • Dial high-quality leads, uniquely sourced by Mpower Solar.

Qualifications

Prerequisites

  • Dedicated home workspace with reliable internet (strong upload/download speeds).

  • Noise-canceling headset with a microphone and webcam for meetings.

  • A computer capable of running multiple applications efficiently with a dual-screen setup.

  • Backup plan for power or internet disruptions.

  • Physically and mentally fit to work.

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) with minimal to no accent.

  • Committed to schedule, reliability, and exclusive employment with Mpower Solar.

Required Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

  • Rapport building and objection handling.

  • Lead qualification and CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred).

Work Experience

  • Inside sales experience (required).

  • Positive track record in an SDR role (required).

  • Experience in the solar industry (preferred).

  • HubSpot CRM experience (preferred) or other CRM platforms.

Compensation

  • $12.00–$15.00/hr base pay

  • Commissions: $100 per S1

  • PTO (after regularization)
